This nifty WordPress plugin adds a scroll to top feature with fade in / fade out and color transition. Includes images that auto resize based on the device type. Large scroll to top image for HD and desktop computers, medium for tablets, and small for mobile devices. A free version is available in the WordPress repository, and a paid premium version is available here on this page.
Tons of nice effects are possible by changing the background color, mouse over color, transparency, border color, border, hover color, and fader shadow effect. Even more with the premium version as you can also change the arrow color (black, gray, or white), change the fader shadow color, the shadow hover color, as well as the location/position of the shadow.

Installation:
From within WordPress
→ Visit ‘Plugins > Add New’.
→ Search for ‘ScrollTop Fader’ and click to install.
→ Activate ScrollTop Fader from your Plugins page.
→ Go to Settings > ScrollTop Fader and configure the options.
You can also download the zip file and upload it from the WordPress Plugins >> Add New > Upload page.
Manually
→ Upload the `scrolltop-fader` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory.
→ Activate the ScrollTop Fader plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
→ Configure the plugin by going to the WordPress `Settings` menu, then to `ScrollTop Fader` that appears in your admin menu.
FAQs
What if I don’t know color codes?
→ No problem, just click on or tap the color code box and a friendly color picker will open that allows you to conveniently select a color of your choice without any color code knowledge.
What if I want to use a specific color?
→ If you know the 6 character html/hex color that you want to use you may enter it into the text box.
